November 08, 2010 -- SugarCRM Inc. is soon to release a new version of SugarCRM plug-in for Microsoft Outlook. SugarCRM applications are used worldwide by more than 600,000 end users in 80 languages. The latest release of SugarCRM plug-in for Microsoft Outlook 2010 is an upgrade from Outlook 2007 and features compatibility improvements.

Roger Smith, Software Engineer at SugarCRM Inc. used oDesk to hire Bernard to help migrate their Microsoft Outlook add-in to Outlook 2010. Following the successful migration of this add-in, SugarCRM plans to re-hire Bernard to help with migration of two other SugarCRM add-ins for Excel and Word.

On Oct-1 I began a 12-day trip starting in Zagreb, Croatia and finishing in Istanbul, Turkey. I bought an extra battery for my laptop but I guess I won't need it as the bus has electrical power. Here's what my office looks like... Can you believe this? :)

This has been the view from my office today afternoon, while traveling from Belgrade, Serbia to Sofia, Bulgaria:

On our second day we'll travel towards Turkey crossing approx. 1,500 km (930 miles). I'm very much looking forward to traveling and working at the same time!

oDesk is a big part of my life and this is where all the magic happens :)

My setup includes the Lenovo ThinkPad T500 laptop, and a Dell UltraSharp U2711 27" monitor. I also use the ThinkPad Travel Keyboard and Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000. I'm using the Creative Labs X-Fi Surround 5.1 sound card hooked up to Logitech 5.1 sound system, and an inexpensive 500GB USB drive that works great for storage.

This is a screen shot of my typical desktop when working. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of Excel and Visual Studio. For my work I use a lot of VMware, mostly for testing and development.
